I saloni 2010 - a design date
April 2010: from 14th to 19th, 2,500 exhibitors will set up at the Milan Fairgrounds -Rho, where the 49th edition of Salone Internazionale del Mobile is held, along with Eurocucina and its collateral event FTK, the International Bathroom Furniture Exhibition, the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition and SaloneSatellite.
In Salon week, Milan becomes the undisputed champion of design: for the 2010 date, along with the Furniture and Complimentary Furniture Exhibition, there is the return of Satellite Salon and Eurokitchen (with FTK-Technology for the Kitchen). A touch of novelty for the Satellite Salon, with sets done by five young architects under the care of Ricardo Bello Dias. There are three Cosmit events in the city. At Villa Reale in Via Palestro: “It’s ready!” a trip into the world of “sitting down at the table to eat”; in the house-museums Poldi Pezzoli, Bagatti Valsecchi, Boschi Di Stefano and Villa Necchi Campiglio, “Unexpected guests. The homes of yesteryear, the Design of today”; at Villa Necchi Campiglio and at the Triennale Bovisa “The designer’s handiwork“ : 450 sketches, designs, drawings, all signed and donated to Fai. There will also be an exceptional number of collateral events dedicated to Milan running alongside the trade shows: no fewer than four exhibitions focusing on the manufacture of furnishings and furnishing accessories, on kitchens, on bathrooms…
