Sunchariot, coat stand, 2010

<TABLE><TR><TD valign="top"><A href="http://www.italiandesign360.com/PRODUCTS/Product_profile.aspx?idp=6120&name=Sunchariot_coat_stand_2010"><IMG src="/allegati/9390.JPG" border="0"></A></TD><TD valign="top">by In Silvis. The square steel tube
with a round-arched curve seems to contradict the linearity of the lower
area of the work.

At the same time, an abrupt interruption in the arc creates a sudden
discontinuity in the visual path.&nbsp; The mirror-like arrangement of the
structure accentuates or attenuates the disruption of continuity,
depending on one’s point of view.

The white color of the main structure can be matched with a horizontal
shaft in any combination of material, finish and color:&nbsp; steel with a
white or black enamel finish, stainless steel, or carbon fiber.&nbsp; The
horizontal shaft is available in various lengths, so the work is
appropriate for homes, offices and stores.&nbsp;

SUNCHARIOT is easy to assemble (with four socket-head screws), easy to
liven up (because of its lightness) and easy to move (with its swiveling
casters).

The item is intended for inclusion in a young, intelligent, useful
furnishing arrangement.

Swiveling casters: OgTM

Summertime means freedom, days out, small trips around the countryside. For the occasion BYografia, the new range of design objects by Buby Caimi presents Bibai, the exclusive bike light and winding that gives you a touch of total white style directly from the fashion stages. Bibai is artisanal made, especially refined with an innovative design, in vintage style but technological and high profile. It’s the perfect mix of complements that makes of Bibai the protagonist of Summer 2010. The bike’s frame is aluminium made with some leather elements to embellish the saddle and the handlebar. The white version is golden made with some other precious objects that give to the bike a really elegant look. Biking means being healthy, it’s a simple activity, ecological and easy and means also being respectful about environment. Bibai can come with some other product of Byografia such as Lillycoj a special bag made in Cross texture and white calf leather with steel accessories.

Set is a proposal of contemporary design that reinterprets the concept of operative space in the home, mixing traditional technical-functional elements revisited in a modern key (e.g. chimneycom-hood) with innovative solutions in terms of aesthetic features, composition and types.
Formally basic with a sophisticated choice of materials and colour combinations, the kitchen, by Rodolfo Dondoni for Dada, becomes a practical, orderly place to work in, and it is finished with care for pleasant living. A space made of interacting components charged with a strong personality.

Redondo is a set of seating elements designed by Patricia Urquiola for Moroso. Its distinctive theme is roundness, and indeed the name in Spanish means “round”.
The system comprises a sofa and two snug armchairs that evoke an almost "protective" intimacy.
The line and form of the structure are reminiscent of a brandy glass: it consists of two adjoining volumes that together form a cocooning seat, like a shell. It does not require the addition of numerous cushions.
Redondo's curved shapes are accentuated by the complete absence of corners and by the soft fabric, chosen to offer sensory stimulation, and embellished with a quilted decoration in which the thread, like a pencil, draws elegant three-dimensional geometries.

The Italian brand, Serralunga, in collaboration with designer Raffaella Mangiarotti (deepdesign) redesigned this classic piece, making it both innovative, comfortable and for the first time, practical to use outdoors.
Serralunga’s revisioin makes the chair easy to stack, thus, a great space-saver, especially for contract use by substituting the quilted leather with the practicality of plastic while still keeping the ‘capitonnè’ effect for the backrest.
The allure of this classic piece was made possible through the use of plastic materials in a sophisticated rotating molding system, a technique in which the Biella company is the worldwide leader as furniture manufacturer.

Mumble is the answer to the different requests of the market, it is not tied to the traditional concept of the sofa with the back against the wall but main object of the room. Mumble can be arranged in a central position, lined up , as a corner system or as an island, according to the necessity of the client.
