Tokujin Yoshioka interprets the archetype of the classic armchair for Driade Store. Mermaid is realised in polyethylene by the rotational technique. Fluid and plastic in form, the seat seems a light expression of the design philosophy of the Japanese designer, in search of a coherent fusion between function and emotion.
